The Future’s So Bright…

by Callum Stewart May 27, 2014

So here I am, sitting in the small, rainy town of Magherafelt, writing my first ever blog post. As I’m sure most of you have never heard of Magherafelt, it is a small town in Northern Ireland, halfway between Derry/Londonderry and Belfast and doesn’t have much to boast about. It is here that I grew up and is where I currently live.

The last few weeks have been crazy for me and it has all been a bit of a change of pace from normal life here in “The Felt” (as it is affectionately known among some of the locals). I released my debut single “Free” two weeks ago and have been blown away from the response I have been getting. It has been a long time coming as I started working on the songs that I am about to release around 2 years ago so to get them out has made me feel a certain sense of relief combined with the terror of releasing my work to the baying public.

Luckily, the single’s video has had a combined total of nearly 8,000 views in those 2 weeks and I have been getting emails from major labels and music companies from all over the UK and the USA, which blows my mind! I’ve also had the privilege of becoming one of Breo’s heroes. This is awesome for me, as I’ve been wearing their shades for nearly 2 years now! I love them!

The next few months are super exciting as I’m going to be playing some festivals here in Ireland as well as travelling back and forth to London for meetings with various different companies and most importantly heading back into the studio with my producer, Tré Sheppard to record some new tracks.

I will include all the links for my videos and social networking at the bottom of this and will let you know how everything goes in my next Breo Heroes blog.

Tomorrow I depart for The Picos de Europa; a somewhat forgotten area of Spain, located just 20km from the North coast it boasts huge Limestone walls and mountains over 2600m … Continue reading

Change Is The Most Natural Thing In The World

by Elaine Abonal September 12, 2016

It’s funny how we are told that people are naturally resistant to change, whereas the most natural thing in the world IS change. These past few months have all been about change for me and although in my brain I know it, my heart doesn’t seem to be ready. Until now, where I have taken a break and have been … Continue reading

From Trail Running to Paddle Boarding

by Sarah Morton August 22, 2016

As ever, I’m not sure where the past while has gone – summer definitely seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye! I started off the trail running season on a really positive note and was ready, and very excited, to get my first ultra-race of the year ticked off nice and early in April. But, … Continue reading
