Sri Lanka Styling

by Zak Lawton February 23, 2015

Sri Lanka is an up and coming surf destination and understandably so!
Based just off India, its ideally located, in terms of swell direction and open water. Coupled with warm sun and light winds it makes for an ideal winter getaway!
As you would expect the place is packed with friendly locals, and businesses taking advantage of the growth in tourism, making it a safe and enjoyable destination.

There was plenty to do, the picture of my girlfriend; Maddie and I shows our enjoyment at one of the many touristy attractions – the Snake Garden. I was going to show you the one where were both smiling for the camera but this one paints a far superior image!

The surf varied but by and large it way awesome! The pics attached show my home made rig for getting the photo of me on the nose, something I’ve been trying to do for ages, and the warm water makes it look so much more appealing.

I would recommend Sri Lanka to anybody looking to enjoy a few weeks, in sunshine and consistent waves.

These past few months have all been about change for me and although in my brain I know it, my heart doesn’t seem to be ready. Until now, where I have taken a break and have been … Continue reading

As ever, I’m not sure where the past while has gone – summer definitely seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye!
