My Biggest Adventure Awaits!

by Wiji Lacsamana February 10, 2015

Just last year I was with fellow Breo Heroes Elaine and Migs for a New Years’ dinner, discussing what our year’s plans were, we saw ourselves in a few years. We all saw ourselves still pursuing, if not making grander, our current passions. I envisioned myself doing more branding and illustration projects, and perhaps finally working on a solo exhibit–all these visions, strictly career-oriented. And then life threw me glitter confetti and a big surprise: I was going to be a mom.

My biggest adventure awaits!

So now here I am, 9 months pregnant, bound to pop forth my spawn anytime soon and life is seeming more and more…great. Contrary to my prior beliefs, I feel like this whole new world is opening up before me and there’s so much to be done! Traveling the world with this new family I’ve created, making (hopefully good) art, being a much better version of myself. Time is so weird, it brings you to places you never thought you’d find yourself in. But in a good way.
