Laura Lost

So summer is coming to an end but I’m really happy autumn is here! It’s my favourite time of year, the surf and the weather is really good in Croyde Bay right now. I’ve just got out of the sea at Croyde where the surf was about 3ft and pumping. I am filming my new music video for my single ‘The Shores of England’ and I wanted to get a bit of footage of me surfing in the video so it was a fun shoot.

This summer I have been playing a lot of gigs around Devon and Cornwall. I recently played a gig to raise money and awareness for Surfers Against Sewage which are an organisation I really like to support because I hate surfing in dirty water! After a very busy summer I am planning on chilling, writing more music and filming music videos to promote myself. I should hopefully be out playing more gigs in October with a London date due to be scheduled as well as Devon and Cornwall shows to be confirmed.

I played my new album out a lot this summer and I was really happy that a lot of people enjoyed my songs. I play indie/acoustic music with a bit of punk strangely as I used to play in a punk band, so my music is kind of alternative and maybe not to everyone’s taste but I’m actually really happy a lot of people seemed to like the tracks!

Catch you on the road soon!

It’s funny how we are told that people are naturally resistant to change, whereas the most natural thing in the world IS change. These past few months have all been about change for me and although in my brain I know it, my heart doesn’t seem to be ready. Until now, where I have taken a break and have been … Continue reading

As ever, I’m not sure where the past while has gone – summer definitely seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye! I started off the trail running season on a really positive note and was ready, and very excited, to get my first ultra-race of the year ticked off nice and early in April. But, … Continue reading
