Change Is Good

by Michael Enriquez February 27, 2013

I have always thought of myself as a guy pretty much ready for any type of physical activity. After Skating the gnarliest hills here in the Philippines, running a 21k race and going 12 rounds on the ring my perspective has been that im ready for about anything. So after my friend invited me to join him on his hardcore workout session I said why not. How tough could it get after all the stuff that i have done. This workout was way miserable than i remotely imagined. I changed my definition of being fit. So I promised my self that one of these days I’ll get back and tackle that workout head on again but to do that I need to stary eating better and cook my own food. Change is good.

I got back on board after having an extended holiday. Too much chilling and maxxing here in the tropical island. It feels good to be riding fast again on our local spot. We call it “The Gold” because downhill skateboarding is not allowed in the area but the guards allow my crew to skate there. It’s butter smooth pavement and steep winding road and 10 minutes away from my house.

I’m loving my Breo binary watch. It’s so useful and light as a feather. I use it for cooking, timing my downhill runs and i even wore it with a nice suit at my friends wedding. Huge thanks to Breo and Joint Skate Shop for supporting my lifestyle. Looking forward to a rad year ahead. Cheers!

by Elaine Abonal September 12, 2016

It’s funny how we are told that people are naturally resistant to change, whereas the most natural thing in the world IS change. These past few months have all been about change for me and although in my brain I know it, my heart doesn’t seem to be ready. Until now, where I have taken a break and have been … Continue reading

From Trail Running to Paddle Boarding

by Sarah Morton August 22, 2016

As ever, I’m not sure where the past while has gone – summer definitely seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye! I started off the trail running season on a really positive note and was ready, and very excited, to get my first ultra-race of the year ticked off nice and early in April. But, … Continue reading
