Bombing Hills

by Michael Enriquez December 18, 2013

I’m stoked to share that the board riding community here in the Islands is gaining momentum. Big companies are sponsoring local riders and some riders get paid too. Getting paid to shred is the most relaxed job in the world.

It’s nice to see the board riding community doing some relief work action. A lot of people contributed to packing and carrying the goods for our brothers in Visayas. I know that our brothers there will be back to shredding some waves and shredding the hills sooner than expected.

The 1st season of the Asian Downhill Circuit is set to begin this December 7 – 8. The fastest speed boarders in Asia will be bombing the hills of Sierra Madre to find out who’s the king of hill this 2013. Manila based riders for sure have a lot of advantage in this track because the race hill is somehow everyone’s local hill here in Manila. The organizers of the ADC haven’t announced the other legs of the circuit but I think it will be in Malaysia and Indonesia.

I’ll be joining all the legs of the circuit and for sure I’ll be gunning for the win in every race. This is a good way to explore other Asian countries and eat a lot of local foods. Time to shred!

It’s funny how we are told that people are naturally resistant to change, whereas the most natural thing in the world IS change. These past few months have all been about change for me and although in my brain I know it, my heart doesn’t seem to be ready. Until now, where I have taken a break and have been … Continue reading

From Trail Running to Paddle Boarding

by Sarah Morton August 22, 2016

As ever, I’m not sure where the past while has gone – summer definitely seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye! I started off the trail running season on a really positive note and was ready, and very excited, to get my first ultra-race of the year ticked off nice and early in April. But, … Continue reading
