Wiji Lacsamana

"I found the guts to do freelance graphic design and illustration work in 2006 - I am a Political Science major, so it's quite far off from what I studied in college. I've always been drawing as a kid, but never really thought of it as a career option until after college, when I became friends with people who were doing what they were passionate about (some were musicians, others were designers) and from there on got into design, illustration and basically anything crafty.

I try to trump any great achievement I have every year - the first few years I had the opportunity to be involved in music videos, the next few I was able to start an interior decorating group with my friend, I've also put up a pesco vegetarian restaurant. This year, my greatest achievement so far was my March exhibit with an award-winning writer, Yvette Tan, called Strange Times."
